Due to low numbers of C-Team players we are going to switch the seventh grade game to a 5 PM start. So the eighth grade can go and play in the C-team game to allow for all teams to be able to play without cancellation.

Let’s Pack the Gym! 🔥🏀 With an exciting game coming up this Friday, it’s a great time to review behavior expectations to ensure a fun and safe experience for everyone! 🌟 Behavior Expectations at Sporting Events: 1️⃣ Students 12 and under must enter with a parent/guardian and be supervised at ALL times. (Middle School Handbook, Page 4) 2️⃣ All students must remain seated during the game. Avoid wandering or going under the bleachers. 3️⃣ Concessions are available! After visiting, students should promptly return to their seats. 4️⃣ No sports equipment (footballs, soccer balls, etc.) or running/tag games are allowed at indoor events. These items will be confiscated by game supervisors. 5️⃣ Always show good sportsmanship and cheer respectfully for both teams! 🎉 We’re super excited for Friday’s game, and we know our fans will bring the energy and make the gym LOUD! Cass Lake-Bena Educators Promote Excellence Through Monthly Community-Focused Activities The Cass Lake-Bena Educators Association (CLEA) is excited to announce a new initiative aimed at promoting monthly activities that celebrate and support our community while highlighting the amazing things happening within our schools. A key part of this initiative is the CLEA Leader of the Month, a program designed to recognize students who may not always find themselves in the spotlight but make a significant positive impact in both our school and community. Each month, high school staff nominate students who exemplify kindness, leadership, and a commitment to bettering the world around them. CLEA Leaders of the Month 🌟 December: Alexiah LaRose (12th Grade) Alexiah consistently demonstrates a kind and supportive attitude, contributing positively to the school environment and setting an example for her peers. 🌟 January: William "Bobolink" Staples (10th Grade) William has been recognized for his dedication to making a difference through his actions, both in the classroom and the community, inspiring others around him. Cass Lake-Bena Schools and buses will be two hours late Tuesday January 21. Please be sure children are dressed for winter. If you decide to keep your students home, please call the school so the absence can be excused.

The Cass Lake-Bena Varisity Speech Squad (15 strong💪) filled the house with 200+ of their fellow Speechers from across Minnesota today. The Panthers did not win any hardware, but the young squad stood strong and let their voices be heard. Next year will be bigger and better!
