A few updates in regards to basketball: JH GBB will not be traveling to Red Lake tomorrow. With no games tomorrow both JH GBB & BB will not have practice. JH GBB will also not practice on Friday due to no school. JH GBB will hold there last practice on Monday.

Hello CL-B Middle School Parents/Guardians, Below is information related to the E-Learning day today for Middle School Students: Student Directions: Login to all your Google Classrooms, including Homeroom and complete the assignment for the day. Assignments will be posted by 9:15 AM and need to be completed by 3:30 PM the following day. Use email to communicate with your teachers, get help on assignments, or ask questions. Next school day, the first 20 minutes of class, will be an e-learning assignment review. If you are on the e-learning list (no working internet at your home), you will have 2 days upon return to school to turn in your assignments from the e-learning day. Students must be on the list or be expected to work digitally from home on the e-learning day. Parent/Guardian Directions: This is a school day. Make sure your child is up and working on their assignments. Check in with them at the end of the day, and ask to see their work in Google Classroom. Call the school to excuse absence due to illness, funeral, medical appointment, etc. Contact teachers for any questions on assignments. Contact the school if your child cannot work digitally (no working internet at home).

Good evening families. As you know by now, we will be doing E Learning tomorrow, February 18th. The elementary instructions can be found at https://www.clbs.k12.mn.us/page/elementary-parents-guardians. Preschool staff will be doing their best to check in with families as they are able. There will be no after school activities tomorrow due to e-learning. The games against Fertile-Beltrami will be rescheduled.

Due to predicted extreme cold and hazardous windchill, Cass Lake-Bena Schools will utilize an e-learning day Tuesday, February 18. Students and staff will work from home. Staff will be online and available from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 pm, and again from 12:30 pm - 3:00 pm. Please check the district website for each school’s plan for e-learning. Stay safe!

Register ASAP and mark your calendars. Traditional floral master beadwork artist Justine Gustafson is coming to Cass Lake Bena to guide students and families through the creation of a beaded pouch. She will share her understanding of the history of florals used by our ancestors. This beading workshop will take place at the CL-B High School from 9am-4pm March 1 & 2, 2025 We will prioritize any CLB student ages 10+. Beading experience is preferred but not required. 1 adult household member must accompany any student under age of 14 to this event. please provide the name of the adult when registering your current CLB student. Other family and school district members may register is space allows. Register by emailing ehumphrey@isd115.net All supplies will be provided as will a lunch each day. Please ensure you are able to remain at event all day both days. This ensures your project will be completed.

There is no BB JH game against Bug-O-Nay-Ge-Shig tonight due to no school.

21stCCLC of CLB events on May 3rd 10am-4pm will take place at the White Earth Family Center in Cass Lake. Please make note of this change if you are registered for May 3, 2025. space is limited to 12 but anyone can come and learn to process, get hand outs, take notes etc. CL-B students are super encouraged to register by email ehumphrey@isd115.net but guardians of students can also register to attend. Tanya has been making breads for years and has much knowledge. she will be answering lots of questions. All sessions will be held 12-4pm in the CL-B HS Culture Room. March 15, April 5 and May 3, 2025
